The child welfare network was founded as a result of a research done by a group of student who came to Senegal ,and based on their analyses they realized that there is a need for an organization that will work at a community level on addressing some of these issue .It is none Govermental organisation or community based organisation that work towards the maintenance of the right and welfare of  children in local communities with in Sierra leone (Freetown , Bo,Kenema ,Kambia,... )
